Megan is a true crime junkie from Alabama. From a very young age, she had a fascination with news around the world. She remembers watching Dateline as a little girl with her mother. She would roll up in a blanket burrito her mother would make her on the living room floor and watch true crime news with her mom for hours on a Friday and Saturday night. That is what started her passion for true crime. The most memorable cases from her childhood include JonBenet Ramsey, OJ Simpson, and Princess Diana.
Megan is a mother of four. She has two master’s degrees. One is in secondary English education and the other is in school administration. After spending time in the secondary classroom for nearly a decade, she decided to transition. She is now a college English instructor for a local community college. Furthermore, she has experience writing for a local news website, which sparked even more her interest in writing about true crime.
Writing then led to making videos. After being encouraged by a friend, she started a TikTok in January of 2024. Although it took her forever to create her first video, after she finally got the nerve to post her first one, she was hooked after that. In seven months, she has gained 113,000 followers on TikTok, and she is extremely thankful to all who have supported her along this journey.
Creating videos for social media then led her to want to create a website where people can find all things true crime in one place from reading articles to watching her videos.
Megan has a passion for helping with missing people cases, unsolved cold cases, and calling out those who abuse children, animals, and the elderly.
