Arizona Man Charged with First-Degree Murder for Shooting Mother of Three at Bus Stop

October 12, 2024

ARIZONA: A 52-year-old mother of three was gunned down at a bus stop by a stranger.

Andrew Rada, 44, has been charged with first-degree murder for allegedly shooting Michelle Flippin multiple times with a long rifle. Surveillance footage contradicts Rada's claims, showing Flippin posed no threat.

On the day of the incident, Flippin was dropped off at a gas station and walked to the nearby bus stop, waiting to commute to her new job. Rada, parked nearby, alleged Flippin was waving a chrome handgun and talking loudly, causing people to flee. However, video evidence reveals Flippin was alone, smoking a cigarette with her back to Rada.

Without provocation, Rada fired approximately 38 rounds from his rifle, striking Flippin 15-20 times until she fell. He then drove away, leaving Flippin's lifeless body.

Police quickly stopped Rada, and investigators found nearly 40 spent shell casings at the scene. No gun was found near Flippin's body, disputing Rada's claims.

Flippin's children released a heart-wrenching statement: "Our rock, our protector, our mother was taken from us... She was on her way to get her new job going when this tragedy happened. She was minding her own business. She certainly did not deserve this."

Rada's motivations remain unclear, but the consequences are undeniable. Flippin's family and the community demand justice.
