August 17, 2024
TENNESSEE: Emily Bradley, a 44-year-old woman from Tennessee, was reported missing on February 21. Her body was found two weeks later in Whites Creek, along Buena Vista Pike near Hummingbird Drive. The Medical Examiner's Office determined that Bradley's death was caused by blunt force trauma.
Miles Williams, Bradley's 39-year-old ex-boyfriend, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with her death. Williams was arrested on Friday and admitted to consuming narcotics during his arrest. He was transported to General Hospital and will be officially booked upon his release.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Bradley was last seen leaving her home on Norvel Avenue on February 18, driving a silver 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with Florida license plates. A license plate camera pinged Bradley's vehicle in Hendersonville on February 21, but it was unclear who was driving at the time.
Friends and family of Bradley are grieving and making arrangements for her funeral. They described her as a vibrant person with a heart of gold. Bradley's family and friends believe she may have been a victim of domestic violence.
The investigation, led by the Missing Persons Unit detectives, revealed that Bradley was last seen with Williams. He refused to speak with detectives but made statements about ingesting narcotics prior to his arrest.
Williams will be booked on the murder indictment upon his release from the hospital. The case is ongoing, and anyone with information on Bradley's death or her missing vehicle is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
