Father Suspected of Killing 2-Month-Old Baby

COLORADO: A 2-month-old baby's life was tragically cut short. On August 17, police responded to a distressing call about a baby not breathing at an apartment complex on South 18th Avenue. Despite immediate CPR administration and hospitalization, the infant succumbed to their injuries eight days later, on August 25.

The police investigation has led to the detention of Donnie Casados, the 31-year-old father of the deceased baby. Although Casados is currently in custody on unrelated charges, the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office will determine the appropriate charges related to the baby's homicide once the case is filed.

The Brighton Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
