North Carolina Mother and Boyfriend Arrested After Abducting 4-Year-Old Son at Gunpoint

NORTH CAROLINA: A shocking and disturbing incident unfolded in North Carolina, where a 4-year-old boy was abducted at gunpoint by his own mother and her boyfriend. The incident began on Friday afternoon when Deneshia Williams, 28, Jontae Purdie, 33, and another unidentified man confronted the boy's father.
According to reports, Williams held a gun on the father while Purdie and the other man assaulted him. Meanwhile, the father's girlfriend attempted to protect the child, Brandis Tyrone Smith Jr., but Williams pointed the gun at her, took her wallet, and abducted the child.
An Amber Alert was issued for the boy at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, hours after the abduction. Thankfully, the boy was found unharmed on Saturday morning in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Williams and Purdie were arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm, simple assault of a child younger than 12 years old, and simple assault. The whereabouts of the third individual involved in the abduction are currently unknown.
